IMSA – Jarvis and Rast towards Mazda

After Team Joest's involvement in Mazda's Prototype program in IMSA, the Japanese manufacturer could benefit from the skills of Oliver Jarvis and René Rast in 2018. The Briton and the German should defend Mazda's interests in the NAEC races (Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen and Petit Le Mans).

Oliver Jarvis competes in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup with Bentley and WEC with Jackie Chan DC Racing on an Oreca 07 that he shares with Ho-Pin Tung and Thomas Laurent.

As for René Rast, the German is working for Audi in DTM and finds himself in a position to play for the title since he occupies second place in the Championship before the final at Hockenheim on October 14 and 15.
