IMSA – Jesse Krohn promoted to GTLM with BMW Team RLL

After announcing the arrival of Connor de Phillippi, BMW Motorsport and Team RLL confirmed this Friday evening that the American will be joined by John Edwards, Alexander Sims and Jesse Krohn.

If Edwards and Sims finished the 2017 season in IMSA with Team RLL on the BMW M6 GTLM, Jesse Krohn will move from the M6 ​​GT3 that he drove both in the GTD category in the United States, to the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup or the 24 Hours of Nürburgring in Europe, or in Asian Le Mans Series.

On the endurance events of the championship, counting towards the North American Endurance Cup (Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen and Petit Le Mans), the four starters will be supported by Nick Catsburg, Augusto Farfus, Philipp Eng, all three also entered in the WEC, and Bill Auberlen, who had already confirmed his presence in the long races.

Aligned in 2017, Martin Tomczyk will evolve in WEC on the M8 GTE.
