IMSA – The Acura ARX-05 shows itself at Paul-Ricard

THEAcura ARX-05 will be one of the big novelties expected in 2018 on the scene ofIMSA Sportscar Championship in DPi category. The new weapon of the American division of Honda will be entered by the Team Penske, which will put on track two examples of the chassis based on an Oreca 07 and powered by a block studied by Honda Performance Development.

If Acura is currently represented in GTD with the NSX GT3s of Michael Shank Racing, the return of the firm to prototypes will continue the story started during the American years Le Mans Series. Acura published a teaser video of its future vehicle this Tuesday, during tests carried out on the Paul-Ricard route in Var. The presentation of the car is due to take place on August 18.
