IMSA – The entry list for the 12 Hours of Sebring revealed

16 Prototypes, 9 GTLMs and 18 GTDs will compete on the track in a little over a week on the Florida track of Sebring for the second round of theIMSA 2018, contested over twelve hours.

In the premier category, the Cadillac clan, winner at the 24 Hours of Daytona with the No. 5 DPi-VR – Action Express Racing, will once again be among the favorites, with the examples operated by Wayne Taylor Racing (with the Jordan Taylor trio – Renger van der Zande – Ryan Hunter-Reay), Action Express Racing (Albuquerque – Barbosa – Fittipaldi and Nasr – Curran – Conway) or the Spirit of Daytona (Vautier – Cheever – McMurry).

Facing the Cadillacs, Acura Team Penske will once again enter two ARX-05s, including simon pagenaud on the No. 6 alongside Juan Pablo Montoya and Dane Cameron. ESM will always trust the French Olivier Pla (Nissan DPi n°2) and Nicolas lapierre (Nissan DPi n°22), while Romain Dumas will continue a second race in the Oreca 07 – CORE Autosport.

Revenge is also expected for the Mazda RT24-Ps of Team Joest, behind at Daytona. Note the debut of Nelson Panciatici in the No. 07 Oreca 85 – JDC-Miller Motorsports.

No surprises in GTLM with new Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, Corvette, Ford en bagarre pour la victoire finale dans la catégorie. Les Porsche 911 RSR seront confiées aux trios Makowiecki – Pilet – Tandy et Bruni -Vanthoor – Bamber. Sébastien Bourdais will perform as planned on the No. 66 Ford GT – Chip Ganassi Racing.

The largest category in terms of numbers with 18 cars, the GTD will notably see Mathieu Jaminet return to the Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R.
