The pilot Williams will drive one of the two Oreca 07s managed by Jota Sport alongside Felix Rosenqvist, Daniel Juncadella and Robin Frijns.

“We are going to Daytona to have fun and go for victory, comments the 19-year-old Canadian who will make his second start at the Florida event after his engagement in 2016 with Ford Chip Ganassi Racing. I always want to perform as well as possible. I won't have to worry about gas mileage and tire preservation. The race will be tough in traffic and I will enjoy the exercise. »

With an edition of the 24 Hours of Daytona which will be one of the most successful I have seen in several decades, the addition of such a fantastic crew will give us the best elements to aim for the first step of the podium., adds David Cheng.

The second Oreca 07 from Jackie Chan DC Racing should field its starting drivers. Lance Stroll will find Fernando Alonso which will be engaged with United Autosports.
