IMSA – The anniversary liveries of the BMW M6 GTLM

2016 marks the 100th anniversary of the German brand BMW. On this occasion, the M6 GTLM of Team RLL, entered this weekend at the 24 Hours of Daytona (Florida) in WeatherTech Sportscar Champiobship 2016, will be adorned with specific liveries to celebrate this centenary.

On the No. 25, the history of BMW in motorsport will be honored, with in particular the presence of the V12 LMR which won at Le Mans in 1999, or the 3.0 CSL which won at Sebring in 1975, and whose number has been adopted on this copy. No. 100, for its part, sports a livery whose “meaning of the design will become clearer during the year” according to BMW.

Bill Auberlen, Dirk Werner, Augusto Farfus and Bruno Spengler will drive the No. 25 while Lucas Luhr, John Edwards, Kuno Wittmer and Graham Rahal will be entered in the No. 100 at Daytona.
