IMSA – Michael Shank Racing changes its Acura crews for 2018

There will be changes to the Michael Shank Racing team for the 2018 season.Imsa in the USA. If the American formation continues its journey equipped with two Acura NSX GT3 for the second year in a row, the crews have been seriously reshuffled.

 

Car number 94 will once again be driven by Katherine legge. The British woman, who went through DTM and IndyCar, can count on two successes in Detroit and Watkins Glen. Next season this will welcome the experienced Alvaro Parente, until now official driver McLaren in GT. The Portuguese was notably victorious in the Pirelli World Challenge as well as at the Bathurst 12 Hours in 2016. Note that the duo will only compete in the six rounds of the North American Endurance Cup (Naec, i.e. 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring, 6 Hours of Watkins Glen, and Petit Le Mans).

 

In the cockpit of the hit car number 93, the young people Lawson Aschenbach et Justin marks will share the steering wheel. They will be joined by AJ Allmendinger during the 24 Hours of Daytona at the end of January. Mario Farnbacher will lend them a hand during the other endurance events.
