IMSA – Ryan Hunter-Reay joins Visit Florida Racing

Alongside Marc Goossens and Ryan Dalziel, recently confirmed as holders within the Visit Florida Racing for the complete program of the WeatherTech Sportscar Championship 2016, Ryan Hunter Reay will strengthen the crew for four events next year.

The champion IndyCar 2012 and winner of the 500 Indianapolis 2014 will be lined up on the No. 90 Corvette DP for the races inEndurance from Daytona (January 30-31), Sebring (March 16-19) in Florida then Petit Le Mans on the Road Atlanta route in Georgia on October 1st. Added to the American's program will be the Long Beach sprint event (April 15-16).

“I believe we have a good chance of winning these big endurance races and I am also looking forward to taking on the challenge of Long Beach, which is one of my favorite tracks, explains the Andretti driver in IndyCar. I have worked, and already shared successes, with Marc Goossens and Ryan Dalziel, so we will be able to shorten the adaptation process and get to work immediately on the car settings. »

Hunter-Reay will be in action from the Roar Before the 24, the official test session for the 24 Hours of Daytona, from January 8 to 10.
