IMSA – TRG back with Porsche

TRG a recréé le lien qui l’unissait à Porsche en confirmant son engagement pour toute la saison de l’IMSA in the GTD category with one or two 911 GT3 R replacing the Aston Martin Vantage.

Kevin Buckler's structure has enjoyed numerous successes with the Stuttgart manufacturer, including a category victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2002 and 13 podiums at the 24 Hours of Daytona. The consecration came in 2003 with an overall victory for the 996 GT3-RS of Buckler-Schrom-Bernhard-Bergmeister, victorious in front of the prototypes.

This will be the first time TRG has worked with Porsche since its 2013 American Le Mans Series program. Although the Californian team has not yet revealed its drivers, it has confirmed that it will continue in the Pirelli World Challenge and the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge with Vantage V12s.
