IMSA – A Vilander-Fisichella duo at Risi

Second in GTE Pro with teammate Gianmaria Bruni on the Ferrari 458 Italia last year behind champion Richard Lietz (Porsche), the Finn Tony Wilander will discover the Ferrari 488 equipped with the new turbo engine in the GTLM category in the WeatherTech Sportscar Championship.

The double winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in GTE Pro will be associated for the occasion with the Italian Giancarlo Fisichella. The two men know each other well since it was together, with the help of Gianmaria Bruni, that they won in Sarthe in 2012 and 2014.

They will compete in all the rounds of the season on the other side of the Atlantic in the car fielded by Risi Competizione. Fisichella has until now been regularly associated with Pierre Kaffer in American events since 2014.
