IMSA – VisitFlorida Racing switches to the Ligier JS P217

VisitFlorida Racing will become one of the new spearheads of Onroak Automotive in the United States, starting with the next round of the championship IMSA Sports car. The Florida team, which until now fielded a Riley Mk30 in the American series for Marc Goossens and Renger van der Zande, will enter a Ligier JS P217 at the Road America (Wisconsin) event on August 6.

«  We have seen what the Ligier JS P217 is capable of, not only here in IMSA but also in Europe, and we can't wait to take to the track at Road America and learn, explains Troy Flis, owner of the structure.

I am impressed with the customer service provided by Onroak Automotive, and I know Max Crawford (who runs the American base at Onroak, Editor’s note) since a long time. This relationship has been an additional key element for us and VisitFlorida Racing in the realization of this commitment."

« We are very proud that Troy Flis has chosen our Ligier JS P217 to continue with his team in IMSA, comments for his Jacques Nicolet, boss of Onroak. With 30 years of experience, including 13 in the Daytona Prototype category, VisitFlorida Racing is a figure in American motorsport. »
