Before embarking on the IDEC Sport adventure in European Le Mans Series, Jamie Chadwick is at Daytona International Speedway this weekend as Grand Marshal. Enough to make him want to participate in the event in the future. This is my first time here for the race, I hope to come back next year in a driving role ", the Englishwoman told the press.

After two seasons in Indy NXT, the triple W Series champion (2019, 2021, 2022) changes direction in 2025, heading to theEndurance since she has joined the Genesis Magma Racing “Trajectory Program”. This season, she will compete in the European Le Mans Series with the French team IDEC Sport. I was lucky to land on my feet, Chadwick comments. So I am very excited to be competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with IDEC Sport, supported by Genesis. I am really looking forward to taking on a new challenge in this sense. Of course, I would have liked to have had the opportunity to participate in theIndyCar. I had the chance to test with Andretti. I loved every second of it. You never say never, but, yes, I would have also loved the chance to drive at the highest level of the car American. I felt like I was ready for the challenge. IndyCar is so competitive today. I did better than I expected in Indy NXT, but not good enough to guarantee me an opportunity. I would have liked to have tried my luck. » 

Hypercar goal with Genesis for Chadwick

En ELMS, Jamie Chadwick will be associated with Logan sargeant and Mathys Jaubert at IDEC Sport. Endurance is a discipline that she is going to discover. I always said it was a discipline I would like to race in, explains the 26-year-old pilot. There are so many races that I have on my bucket list. Daytona is one, Le Mans is another. It might be a little bit sooner than I expected, but it’s still a place where I really feel like I can call home and settle in. I just want to learn as much as I can in my first year, try to be as competitive as I can and see what I can do. » 

With the goal of securing a regular place in the Hypercar category with Genesis, whose debut is expected in 2026 in WEC. " ELMS is a very competitive championship, it will be a good learning experience for me. With Genesis, it gives a little bit of a spotlight on the final goal, which is to evolve into the hypercar. We will also be involved a little bit in learning the development process, which is a good thing to learn as much as possible. »
