Jordan Taylor returns to Corvette

On the occasion of the launch of the new Corvette C8.R, the team modified one of its crews by recalling Jordan Taylor alongside Antonio Garcia to replace Jan Magnussen. The double champion ofIMSA had already defended the interests of the American brand by being integrated into the team Endurance from 2012 to 2017 with a category victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2015.

“It’s a great honor to be back with Corvette Racing for 2020 as a full-time entrant, comments the person concerned. I am proud to return to one of the most prestigious teams in the history of motor racing and to represent the manufacturers Corvette and Chevrolet. I had the chance to spend 6 years with Corvette participating in endurance races on the C6.R and the C7.R. »

“It will be special to come back with the new C8.R, adds Jordan Taylor. I'm delighted to drive with Antonio who in my opinion is one of the best GT drivers on the planet. I know I will have a lot to learn these next few months before Daytona, but I am up for the challenge. »

The No. 4 sister car will again be entrusted to Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner. The additional drivers present to complete the squad for the Endurance races have not yet been confirmed.
