Jose Maria López discovered the North American championshipEndurance during the 24 Hours of Daytona in January with Ally Cadillac. The Argentinian will once again be in the #48 DPi for the 12 Hours of Sebring. Jimmie Johnson being restrained by the ordeal ofIndyCar at Texas Motor Speedway which he will compete with Chip Ganassi, he is replaced by the usual driver Toyota en WEC. Pechito will also double with the opening round of the Endurance World Championship the day before, still in Sebring. His teammate Kamui Kobayashi will do the same, also with Toyota and Ally Cadillac.

“It’s a bonus, says José Maria López. I was planning to be at Sebring anyway and unfortunately Jimmie can't do the IndyCar and theIMSA at the same time. I'll be there for the first round of the WEC and the race is on Friday (March 18. Editor’s note), so I'm just going to change garages to compete on Sunday with Ally Cadillac. I really thank Action Express Racing for this new opportunity and hope we can get a good result with Mike (Rockenfeller) et Kamui (Kobayashi). » It will definitely be a Super Sebring for the entire Ally team since Rockenfeller is also planned in the WEC, in the LM P2 category with Vector Sport.
