Porsche's tribute to the 911 GT1 at Petit Le Mans

Porsche will proceed as at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with its 911 RSR, which will sport a specific livery for the IMSA final at Petit Le Mans. Tribute will this time be paid to the 911 GT1 from 1998.

Porsche's tribute to the 911 GT1 at Petit Le Mans

20 years after the victory of the Porsche 911 GT1 n°26 of Aiello – McNish – Ortelli 24 Hours of Le Mans, in front of the sister car No. 25 of Wollek – Müller – Alzen, Porsche will pay tribute to these two legendary cars in its history on the occasion of the final of theIMSA at Petit Le Mans this weekend.

As during the last 24 Hours of Le Mans with the Rothmans and Pink Pig liveries, Weissach will offer specific liveries for its 911 RSR entered in the GTLM category, with the colors of the 911 GT1 from 1998.

The n°911 of Patrick Pilet – Frédéric Makowiecki – Nick Tandy will display red facings, while the n°912 of Laurens Vanthoor – Earl Bamber – Mathieu Jaminet will be flanked by yellow facings.
