The program for the 24 Hours of Daytona

The start of the season in IMSA is very close. A week after the Roar and the qualifying race, the competitors will compete this weekend (January 30-31) in the traditional 24 Hours of Daytona.

This 59th edition begins on Thursday with a first practice session for all classes. Later in the day a new session is planned, this time a little more restricted.

The Bronze/Silver of the GTD category and the Bronze of LMP2 and LMP3 will be the first to take to the track. Half an hour of driving time is reserved for them. They will be joined along the way by the GTLM and DPI before all the GTD, LMP2 and LMP3 drivers take their turn.

A final session, at night, will close this first day of testing before the 24 Hours of Daytona. On Friday, the entrants will ride for the last time before the big day. All classes will participate without any restrictions imposed by the organizers.

The start of this 59th edition is scheduled for 21:40 p.m. (French time) on Saturday. Before, the pilots will have around ten minutes of Warm-Up.
