Wayne Taylor Racing concludes the Daytona Roar

Kamui Kobayashi was the fastest in the final practice session for the Roar Before the 24 at Daytona (Florida) held this Sunday. The driver of the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac completed a lap in 1'34''533, more than a second behind Olivier Pla's Mazda time achieved during the test qualifications.

The Japanese was almost 2 tenths ahead of the #77 Mazda of Oliver Jarvis. Sebastian Bourdais followed almost 4 tenths behind the No. 5 Action Express Racing Cadillac, being the fastest in the penultimate session. The former Champ Car champion preceded the No. 7 Acura DPi of Team Penske.

It was Ben Hanley in the No. 07 Dragonspeed Oreca 81 who was the fastest in LMP2 with a time of 1'35''140 achieved in the 6th session ahead of Nicolas lapierre who finished half a second behind the No. 8 in Tower Motorsport by Starworks.

Earl Bamber a suivi à un dixième dans la dernière séance sur la Porsche 911 RSR n°912. Bryan Sellers a établi le meilleur temps du Roar en catégorie GTD sur la Lamborghini Huracan GT3 n°48 du Paul Miller Racing créditée d’un temps de 1’45’’322.
