The 2017 IMSA champions known

In LM PC, James French and Pat O'Ward, who defend the colors of Performance Tech Motorsports, have been assured of being titled for a while now. In the other categories, the leader only had to start to ensure they won the crown, provided of course that their mount passed the post-race technical checks without incident.

After three titles in a row in Prototype, Action Express Racing cedes its throne to Wayne Taylor Racing, who dominated the 2017 financial year thanks to five victories and seven podiums. Jordan and Ricky Taylor fully deserve this coronation, which is the second for the first named, already titled in 2013 in Grand-Am.

In GTLM, Antonio Garcia and Jan Magnussen offer Corvette Racing a second title in a row. This is the second joint victory for the two men after the one won in 2013 and the third for the Dane.

Finally, the Danish Christina Nielsen and the Italian Alessandro Balzan retain their property in GTD, they who defend the interests of the Team Corsa, thanks to exemplary regularity.

Once again, for these titles to be official, they will have to wait for post-race technical checks. But everyone can go and try to add their name to the Petit Le Mans, since the result of the race will not change anything in the final count.
