- En IMSA, Porsche is unbeatable. For the third round of the 2025 season, contested on the streets of Long Beach this Saturday, April 12, the German manufacturer won the overall victory, but also in the GTD class!
- Porsche won thanks to less time spent in the pits than its rivals. In GTP, Nick Tandy and Felipe Nasr overtook pole-sitters Dries Vanthoor and Philipp Eng (BMW) thanks to the final passage through the pit lane at the end of the race.
- Porsche even achieved a one-two finish, as Mathieu Jaminet and Matt Campbell, in the other 963, finished 2nd. In the championship, Nick Tandy and Felipe Nasr took the lead, having won the first three rounds of the season (Daytona, Sebring and Long Beach). Vanthoor-Eng (BMW) had to settle for 3rd place.
- In GTD, the famous green "Rexy" Porsche 911 GT3 R from the AO Racing team dominated the two aging Lexus RC F GT3s. The victory went to Laurens Vanthoor and Jonny Edgar.
- Entered for the first time in GTD after his terrible accidentIndyCar In 2018, Robert Wickens finished 15th alongside Tommy Milner. His Corvette Z06 GT3.R with modified driver controls could have done better, but Race Control had asked them to stop for rear bodywork repairs.
