Injured in an accident on the first lap of the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen, Tommy Milner missed the Mosport event in Canada, ten days ago in IMSA. The usual driver of the No. 7 Corvette C4.R, alongside Oliver Gavin, was then replaced by Marcel Fässler, regular third driver in endurance races, as in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Corvette Racing assessed the condition of Milner, who was injured in the left hand, and determined that recovery from his injury was not sufficient. As a result, Fässler will return to the seat of the No. 4 this weekend at Lime Rock Park, a track that the former Audi Sport factory driver will discover.
