Mathieu Jaminet joins Porsche North America at Petit Le Mans

Mathieu Jaminet will support Laurens Vanthoor and Earl Bamber during the IMSA final at Petit Le Mans. The Frenchman will make his first racing appearance in the 911 RSR.

Mathieu Jaminet joins Porsche North America at Petit Le Mans

The good news continues for Mathieu Jaminet at the end of the 2018 season. Just titled in ADAC GT Masters with the Porsche 911 GT3 R – Herberth Motorsport, Lorraine will discover the 911 RSR in the race, during the final of theIMSA to Small Le Mans, October 13 and 14.

The former Porsche Carrera Cup France champion will thus be lined up alongside Laurens Vanthoor and Earl Bamber, a tandem still mathematically in the running for the Drivers' title in the GTLM category.

Gianmaria Bruni had competed with Vanthoor and Bamber at Daytona and Sebring at the start of the season, notably bringing home a podium in the 12h event. Mathieu Jaminet also knows Laurens Vanthoor having been his teammate during the Suzuka 10 Hours in the Intercontinental GT Challenge.
