Slightly behind in free practice despite a BoP readjusted in its favor, the Mazda RT24-P came out of the woods at the right time, thanks to Harry Tincknell.

Having only needed 1'10"027 to cover the 2,258 miles of the Mid-Ohio track, the Briton took pole by beating the Acura ARX-0 by a whisker - 095"05. °10 of Wayne Taylor Racing at the wheel of which we found Filipe Albuquerque this afternoon.

In third row, we find Dane Cameron (Acura no. 60 from Meyer Shank Racing), who is ahead of two Cadillac DPi-VRs, namely the no. 31 from Action Express Racing and the no. 5 from JDC-Miller Motorsports, respectively taken for the occasion by Pipo Derani and Tristan Vautier. Inscribed on the No. 01 Cadillac of Chip Ganassi Racing, Kevin Magnussen brings up the rear in DPi, but while only conceding 0”907 to the reference mark.

In LM P3, Gar Robinson lifted his No. 320 Ligier JS P74 from Riley Motorsports to the top of the hierarchy thanks to a time of 1'17 which allowed him to precede Jonathan Bennett (JS P246 No. 320 from Core Autosport ) and Jarett Andretti (JS P54 n°320 from Andretti Autosport).

Finally, in GTD, Aaron Telitz confirmed his good intentions by taking pole at the wheel of the No. 3 Lexus RC F GT14 of Vasser Sullivan. Followed by Robby Foley (No. 6 Turner Motorsport BMW M3 GT96) and Daniel Morad (Mercedes-AMG GT3 n°28 from Alegra Motorsports).

The GTD qualifying session, earning championship points and entrusted to the professional drivers in the category, was dominated by Patrick Long (Porsche 911 GT3 R n°16 from Wright Motorsports).

The American respectively relegated Zach Veach (Vasser Sullivan's No. 3 Lexus RC F GT12) and Laurens Vanthoor (Pfaff Motorsports' No. 911 Porsche 3 GT9 R) to 0 and 126. The start of the race will be given tomorrow at 0:167 p.m. French time.
