Two 100% GT drivers will discover the prototype. Christopher Mies and Fabian Schiller will be at the start of Daytona with the No. 18 DragonSpeed ​​Oreca, in LMP2. Official Audi driver, Mies has already raced the American double round several times but in the GTD class, in an Audi R8 LMS GT3.

The double winner of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring will therefore make his debut in LMP2, and in prototypes in general. “Let’s start the new year with a bang” announced the German on social networks. "I'm going back to IMSA, but this time in LMP2. It’s a new chapter in my career, I can’t wait to be at Daytona. »

His seat companion and compatriot Fabian Schiller, 23, has essentially the same background. Pilot of the Mercedes GetSpeed ​​at the Nürburgring Endurance Series and GT World Challenge Europe, he participated in the 24 Hours of Daytona in GTD in 2019 and will make his prototype debut.

The two Germans will be supported by Devlin DeFranscesco and Eric Lux at Daytona, while the second DragonSpeed ​​car will be driven by Rob Hodes, Garett Grist, Rinus Veekay and Ben Hanley.
