Few drivers have won the 24 Hours of Daytona and the Indianapolis 500, and even fewer in the same year. Pato O'Ward aims to join this illustrious circle this year, starting by securing a third victory (after 2017 and 2022) in Florida this Sunday. The Mexican will be lined up in the LM P2 category with United Autosports.

« I feel privileged to be one of the drivers who competed in both Daytona and the Indy 500, says Pato O’Ward. JI was lucky enough to win the first twice, but not yet the second ! "

« I am very happy to have the opportunity to participate in these two events again, continues the 24-year-old pilot, and I am confident that I have the tools necessary to get the job done. To win both races in the same year would be crazy... and that's exactly what I'm aiming for. »

« I was lucky enough to win it twice and I would love to do it again, continues the Mexican. It is a very physically and mentally demanding event for the drivers, mechanics, engineers… »

To triumph once again in the Florida double clock, he will partner Ben Hanley, Ben Keating and Nico Pino at the wheel of the No. 07 United Autosports Oreca 2. A quartet which has every reason to play the leading roles in the LM P2 category this weekend, especially associated with a team like that of Richard Dean.
