Paul-Loup Chatin with Era Motorsport at the 24 Hours of Daytona

After beginnings in IMSA this year, with an Oreca 07 lined up on a partial program, the Era Motorsport team has formalized its presence in 2021 at the opening of the American championship at the 24 Hours of Daytona (January 30-31).

Kyle Tilley and his teammate Dwight Merriman will be supported for the occasion by one of the big names in the LM P2 category, the Frenchman Paul-Loup Chatin and Ryan Dalziel. Titled in ELMS in 2019, Chatin will make his debut on the other side of the Atlantic.

“I had the chance to meet and work with Kyle and Dwight at 24 Hours of Le Mans 2020 (Tilley and Merriman drove the No. 17- IDEC Sport Oreca at Le Mans, when Chatin drove the No. 28, Editor's note), and I am sure that together we can fight for the top of the LMP2 category, indicates the Frenchman.

I'm really excited to be competing in my first IMSA race and will do my best to honor the trust they have placed in me. »

Chatin will take over from Nicolas Minassian who supported Tilley, Merriam and Ryan Lewis at Daytona in 2020, with third place in LM P2 at the finish.
