New leader in Petit Le Mans with Pipo Derani at the wheel of the No. 31 Whelen Engineering Cadillac depending on the strategies. While Filipe Albuquerque continued his effort at the head of the race, he gave way to Ricky Taylor at the wheel of the #10 DPi shortly before the end of the sixth hour. Four hours before the goal of the 2022 final, the WTR is still virtual champion IMSA occupying third place. The No. 60 Acura of Meyer Shank Racing, rival of the No. 10 in the colors of Konica Minolta, is however far from having given up and is in fourth position with pole sitter Tom Blomqvist at the wheel. Earl Bamber occupies second place with the No. 02 Cadillac in the wake of the leading DPi.

Josh Pierson continues to lead the LM P2 class with the No. 11 Oreca from PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports. Louis Delétraz in the #8 Tower Motorsport and Sebastian Montoya in the #81 DragonSpeed USA are one lap behind the American.

Ligier is still on course for a hat-trick in LM P3 with Josh Bordon at the controls in the No. 320 Andretti Autosport JS P36. He is ahead of Nolan Siegel in the #30 of Jr III Racing and Nico Pino in the #33 of Sean Creech Motorsport.

Jesse Krohn leads the GTD Pro class in the No. 4 Team RLL BMW M3 GT25, ahead of Jack Hawksworth in the No. 3 Lexus RC F GT14 of VasserSullivan and Nicky Catsburg in the No. 8 Corvette C3.R .

Seb Priaulx moved to the top of the GTD rankings with the McLaren 720S GT3 n°70 from inception racing. He is followed by two BMW M4 GT3s: the No. 96 from Turner Motorsport driven by Bill Auberlen and the No. 1 from Paul Miller Racing driven by Bryan Sellers.
