Little Le Mans – Mazda until the end of the night

You had to stay until the end of the night to see the outcome of a 24th edition of Petit Le Mans with twists and turns. With ten neutralizations in ten hours of racing, for 3h10 under yellow flag, the drivers had to avoid numerous collisions and off-track events on a hilly circuit, with such dense traffic, where the slightest deviation can be very costly. The main pileup took place mid-race, when the #8 Corvette C3.R (Antonio Garcia, Jordan Taylor, Nicky Catsburg) crashed its hood into the rear of the #3 Lamborghini Huracán GT19 (Michele Beretta, Misha Goikhberg, Franck Perera ), taking half a dozen GTs with them. The Safety Car had barely returned when it was already back on the Road Atlanta tarmac for several minutes. Of the 43 crews entered at the start of this final, 15 did not see the checkered flag and no category
