The Chip Ganassi Racing Cadillacs left nothing to the others during the first three Free Practice sessions at Petit Le Mans. On the Road Atanta route, Earl Bamber and Sébastien Bourdais followed one another at the top of the timesheets. The Frenchman set the best time during the second driving session in 1:09.040.

“The Cadillac Racing guys did a good job”

“It was a solid round; the balance is pretty good, reacted Sébastien Bourdais. The Cadillac Racing guys did a good job. We'll continue to work on it and see where we are. Hopefully we can put the Cadillac on pole for the final event of the DPi era and win the race.", said Bourdais, who recorded four Motul Pole Awards in nine races.

Earl Bamber dominated the other two sessions on Thursday. “It was a great start to the weekend, judges the New Zealander. We came here to do a test three weeks ago. I think we did our homework and the 02 Cadillac came off the truck just fine. » In March, Bamber partnered Lynn and Neel Jani to win the 12 Hours of Sebring. “We want to try to win another big race this year”, added the pilot. This time he will be supported by Alex Lynn and Ryan Hunter-Reay.
