- While Porsche was heading towards a one-two without batting an eyelid, the triumphant march of the German prototypes was interrupted by a Full Course Yellow deployed 45 minutes from the checkered flag due to a tire lost on the track by a GT. A setback that ultimately did not upset the standings, the Porsches maintaining their advantage when the race restarted 32 minutes from the end. The German firm thus returns to victory in the 12 Hours of Sebring, since its previous success in the general classification of this event dates back to 2008 with the trio Timo Bernhard, Romain Dumas and Emmanuel Collard in the RS Spyder. Porsche also improves its record of victories to 19 in this race.
- Felipe Nasr, once again imperial, took the #963 Penske Motorsport Porsche 7 to the finish line to give his car, which he shares with Nick Tandy and Laurens Vanthoor, a second victory in as many races.IMSA this season, since the trio had already won the 24 Hours of Daytona at the end of January. The Brazilian was instrumental in this new success by taking the lead of the race just before the halfway point with a very nice overtake on the outside of Earl Bamber (Cadillac).
- Mathieu Jaminet, Matt Campbell and Kévin Estre secured a one-two finish for Porsche ahead of the #06 Acura ARX-93 of Nick Yelloly, Alex Palou and Renger van der Zande. As at Daytona, Porsche had a trouble-free race unlike its rivals. The #10 and #40 Cadillacs quickly lost time due to a collision with a GT and a track exit respectively. Brendon Hartley, while the #60 Acura and #24 BMW collided in the pits.
- For its first outing in IMSA, theAston Martin Valkyrie has no reason to be ashamed of its performance. Co-driven by Ross Gunn, Roman De Angelis, and Alex Riberas, the British prototype finished the race in ninth place, just two laps behind the winning Porsche, without encountering any major issues. For Lamborghini, this is yet another retirement after the one at Daytona.
- Leading LM P2 until the last quarter of an hour, Malthe Jakobsen lost big when he crashed the No. 13 Corvette of the AWA team entered in GTD. Pursued by Tom Dillmann (Inter Europol) and Sébastien Bourdais (Tower Motorsports), the Danish driver from Crowdstrike by APR opened the door for the two Frenchmen with this error, in addition to being given a drive-through penalty. Dillmann crossed the finish line as the winner in this class, handing victory to his teammates Bijoy Garg and Jeremy Clarke. Bourdais, John Farano, and Sebastian Alvarez took second place ahead of the French team TDS Racing with Mikkel Jensen, Steven Thomas, and Hunter McElrea.
- With his new smile, Rexy the T-Rex devoured the competition in GTD Pro. Laurin Heinrich, Klaus Bachler, and Alessio Picariello won in the No. 911 Porsche 3 GT77 with its famous dinosaur livery. They finished ahead of the two Paul Miller Racing BMW M4 GT3s.
- In GTD, the Ferrari 296 GT3 No. 21 of the AF Corse team of Alessandro Pier Guidi, Simon Mann and Lilou Wadoux retired with engine failure while it was in a position to win this category after starting from pole position. Victory ultimately went to Mercedes- Winward Racing's No. 3 AMG GT57, driven by Russell Ward, Philip Ellis and Indy Dontje. Ellis overtook Jack Hawksworth (No. 3 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT12) 15 minutes from the checkered flag to secure the victory.
