Busy 2012 schedule for Kévin Estre

Winner of the 2011 Matmut Carrera Cup and author of a brilliant performance at the 24 Hours of Daytona not long ago, Kevin Estre wants to take another step forward this year. The Matmut Carrera Cup is over, this year Kevin will opt for two of the toughest championships in the category. Like last year, he will compete in the Porsche Mobil1 Super Cup, which will be held at the opening of nine Grands Prix F1. Best rookie in 2011 (two poles and a victory at Monza), the young Frenchman will surely be one of the favorites this season.

New this year comes from its participation in the German Porsche Carrera Cup. To do this, it will continue to rely on the experience of the Attempto team based in Hanover (already winner of this championship in 2010). “I am very happy to continue the adventure with Attempto Racing, explains Kevin. We have developed strong mutual trust. This is an essential detail to achieve the objective we have set ourselves, namely, to get on the final podium. A difficult objective given the level of this championship, but not at all impossible”. Although already busy, Kevin?s schedule does not stop there. “I will also be at the start of the 12 Hours of Sebring with Chris Cumming in the Porsche Cup of the JDX Racing team. On top of that, I still hope to prove myself in ALMS. It would be great to be selected once again by Porsche Motorsport to compete in a race like the 24 Hours of Daytona?. If Kevin's schedule has become heavier, his team and his motivation remain unchanged.
