Rebellion Racing enters ALMS for 2013

“The ALMS represents a good opportunity to win races and the objective will be to compete in the full season there”, explains Barth Hayden, the Team Manager of the Swiss team. “However, we do not yet know how many cars we will enter. »

The full program for the next Rebellion Racing season remains unknown at this time. The Swiss team continues in WEC without having yet chosen the number of cars entered in each discipline. “We could continue to race in the WEC”, specifies the Team Manager of the first private team in 2012 at the World ChampionshipEndurance. “We have three cars and entering all three in ALMS would not be realistic. We would therefore opt for two LMP1s in one discipline and the last competing in the second. » After selecting the two Andrea Belicchi crews? Harold Primat and Nicolas Prost? Neel Jani in 2012, Rebellion Racing has not yet confirmed the identity of the drivers selected for next year. “We are not going to make any announcement on our drivers at the moment, they will be more top level drivers than paying drivers”, assures Bart Hayden.
