Road America – Cadillac dominates testing

It was in the very last moments of the second and final practice session at Road America this Friday that Alex Lynn set the best time at the wheel of the No. 02 Cadillac DPi. The British driver then improved his mark in his final attempt to set a benchmark time of 1:49.321. Sebastian Bourdais allowed the American manufacturer to score a double during this second session, 0.253 behind his teammate. Filipe Albuquerque completed the podium in the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Acura DPi at 0.319. This same car had dominated the first running session a little earlier in 1:50.539 thanks to Ricky Taylor.

The other category leaders this Friday were Ryan Dalziel in the No. 2 Era Motorsport Oreca LM P07 18, Gabby Chaves in the No. 320 Andretti Autosport Ligier JS P36 in LM P3, Jack Hawksworth in the Lexus RC F GT3 VasserSullivan #14 in GTD PRO and Frankie Montecalvo in the #3 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT12 in GTD.
