AF Corse is arriving in force in Florida. The Italian team has revealed the identity of the four drivers who will be on board the No. 88 Oreca during the 24 Hours of Daytona (January 28-29), in the LM P2 category. An almost entirely tricolor team since we will find three French people in the opening round of the championship IMSA.

Matthieu Vaxiviere, usually pilot for Alpine en Endurance, will freelance at Daytona with AF Corse. Julien Canal will also be present, while François Perrodo will be the bronze pilot of the crew. Vaxiviere and Canal meet again three years after their joint participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in 2020, with a 3rd place acquired in Sarthe at the time. The pilot Alpine also rode with Perrodo between 2017 and 2019 at TDS Racing.

The fourth man will be Nicklas Nielsen, just confirmed at Ferrari to drive the Hypercar in WEC and already present at AF Corse in LM P2 last season. The Dane also reunites with François Perrodo, with whom he won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2021 in the GTE-Am category in particular. With this crew looking great, AF Corse will undoubtedly be one of the favorites in the LM P2 category.
