USC – Action Express Racing on pole in Detroit
Christian Fittipaldi took pole on the Belle Isle street circuit in Detroit (Michigan) by setting a time of 1'24"746 in the No. 5 Action Express Racing Corvette DP. Ricky Taylor, however, came close to setting the best time by finishing just half a tenth behind the benchmark with the no. 10 from Wayne Taylor Racing. The No. 90 from Vistflorida.com Racing led by Michael Valiante completes the Corvette DP top three.
James French took pole in LMPC with a time of 1'29"317 in the No. 38 Performance Tech Motorsports car. In GTD, the reference time went to Dion von Moltke with a time of 1'33"546 in the no. 8 Audi R48 LMS ultra of Paul Miller Racing.
The race will be broadcast this Saturday, May 30 live from 18 p.m. on Motors TV.
