USC – Andy Priaulx joins Turner Motorsport

Turner Motorsport has confirmed its participation in GTD to defend its title acquired last year. Markus Palttala will be back playing alongside Michael Marsal who has been driving for several seasons with this team but who competed in the last USC season in PC with 8Star Motorsport. But the surprise comes from the presence ofAndy Priaulx on the NAEC races. The BMW driver competed last year with Team RLL in GTLM. A fourth driver will be designated for the 24 Hours of Daytona (Florida) on January 24 and 25.

“I have been working on this program since the last race. I'm happy to say that everything came together this past weekend. My guys are going to have to fight against the clock to get everything ready for Daytona.”, commented Will Turner, the director of the team of the same name. “It’s crazy how quickly the season has come. IMSA announced performance adjustments for Daytona. Our car will be 35kg heavier than last year but we will have the same bridle as in 2014.”
