Triple title holder in PC in ALMS, the BAR1 team wanted to concentrate on a single car for the 2014 edition of the 24 Hours of Daytona, first round of the 2014 USC. “We think it was the best thing to do. » says owner Brian Alder. “We want our team to be as focused as possible on a single effort. »

With this in mind, BAR1 will field Sean Rayhall, James Kovacic, Doug Bielefeld, Tonis Kasemets and Gaston Kearby. The latter will make his debut with the team during the Florida double round of the clock. “We have a good team, and I am very proud to be part of it, explains the former Formula Atlantic resident. I hope we will be competitive in Florida. » The other youngster, Sean Rayhall, 18, who took 4th place during the second part of the preliminary tests a little earlier in January, is also impatient. “I think we made big progress during testing. The 24 Hours of Daytona will take place this weekend at the Daytona International Speedway in Florida.
