USC – Continuity for Action Express Racing in 2016

For the next season of United Sportscar Championship, and Patrón North American Tequila Endurance Cup (NAEC, which includes the events at Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen and Petit Le Mans), the stable Action Express Racing will focus on continuity.

Two Corvette DP will once again be entered on North American tracks, the No. 5 in Mustang Sampling colors still entrusted to the duo João Barbosa? Christian Fittipaldi (regularly assisted by the Frenchman Sébastien Bourdais) and No. 31 in Whelen colors for the pair Eric Curran? Dan Cameron.

“We will have our four drivers returning and this will add to the continuity developed in 2015 and we are aiming for even more things with João, Christian, Eric and Dane next season, explains Team Principal Bob Johnson. But, we still have four championships to win in 2015 and this announcement will allow our team to focus 100% on this objective. »

Last year, the Barbosa pair? Fittipaldi and Action Express Racing won the Drivers and Teams titles. Currently, the duo is in second place in the ranking with seven points from leaders Michael Valiante and Richard Westbrook. This announcement was made on the sidelines of the Road America (Wisconsin) event which is taking place this weekend.
