USC – Oak Racing will run with four drivers

Oak Racing has finalized its crew to defend its colors this season in the United SportsCar Championship, a few days before the official tests which will be held at Sebring. Gustavo Yacaman being committed for the entire season, the Colombian will be accompanied by Olivier Pla on the five long races on the calendar in addition to his program with G-Drive Racing in WEC which Oak operates. After defending the interests of Muscle Milk Pickett Racing at the 24 Hours of Daytona, Briton Alex Brundle will return five times to the team with which he finished vice-champion in the WEC in LM P2 last year. This trio will be at the start of the 12 Hours of Sebring on March 15.

After helping Oak Racing win the Asian Le Mans Series title, the Chinese Ho-Pin Ting will leave for a program with the French team in the Asian Championship. His season will be completed by his presence at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and his registration in three USC events.

“I am very happy to live this American experience with these four brilliant boys, comments Philippe Dumas, the Team Principal of the Sarthe team. I am convinced that we will have as much fun as possible together and fly the colors of our Onroak Automotive chassis and of France at the same time! Our performance at Daytona did not go unnoticed by connoisseurs and we intend to make it happen from this second legendary Sebring race. »
