USC – VisitFlorida.com on pole at Petit Le Mans

Richard Westbrook was fastest in Petit qualifying Le Mans on the wet track of Road Atlanta. The VisitFlorida.com Racing resident set a time of 1'27"860 in the No. 90 Corvette DP which he shares with Michael Valiante, with whom he leads the Championship, and Mike Rockenfeller.

Christian Fittipaldi came closest, falling just one second behind in the #5 Action Express Racing car alongside Barbosa.Bourdais. The Chip Ganassi Racing No. 01 Riley of Hand-Pruett-Dixon completes the leading trio.

The Porsche 911 RSR seemed at ease on the Georgian track as the #912 of Bergmeister-Bamber-Makowiecki took the GTLM pole ahead of the sister car of Tandy-Pilet-Lietz. But the two Germans will ultimately have to start from the back of the grid, leaving the pole to the No. 4 Corvette of Gavin-Milner-Briscoe.

Tom Kimber-Smith was the fastest in PC in the #52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports, still finishing behind the first two 911 RSRs. In GTD, Cameron Lawrence took pole in the No. 3 Riley Motorsports Dodge Viper GT93-R.
