The Porsche 911 RSR seemed at ease on the Georgian track as the #912 of Bergmeister-Bamber-Makowiecki took the GTLM pole ahead of the sister car of Tandy-Pilet-Lietz. But the two Germans will ultimately have to start from the back of the grid, leaving the pole to the No. 4 Corvette of Gavin-Milner-Briscoe.
Tom Kimber-Smith was the fastest in PC in the #52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports, still finishing behind the first two 911 RSRs. In GTD, Cameron Lawrence took pole in the No. 3 Riley Motorsports Dodge Viper GT93-R.
