USC – Wayne Taylor Racing winner at Long Beach

The Taylor brothers' No. 10 Corvette DP won the Long Beach race, USC's third event of the season, after starting from pole. The Wayne Taylor Racing crew held the lead for most of the race which remained smooth.

Ricky and Jordan Taylor score their first victory of the season by winning in front of the No. 01 Riley of Chip Ganassi Racing from Pruett-Hand with a 3-second lead. The No. 90 VisitFlorida.com Racing Corvette of Westbrook-Valiante completed the podium.

In GTLM, BMW Team RLL won with the No. 4 Z25 from Werner-Aberlen for less than 3 seconds ahead of the Ferrari n°62 of the Risi Competizione of Kaffer-Fisichella. The German manufacturer scores its first success in USC. Magnussen-Garcia retains control of the Championship by climbing to the last step of the podium with the No. 3 Corvette.
