USCC – Alex Brundle joins Pickett Racing for Daytona

Alex Brundle is preparing to compete for the first time in the 24 Hours of Daytona which will take place on January 25 and 26. The son of the former pilot of F1, Martin Brundle, will be entered by Muscle Milk Pickett Racing in the Oreca 03-Nissan driven by Lucas Luhr and Klaus Graf. The 23-year-old Briton continues to stand out in Endurance after a superb season with Oak Racing in WEC which resulted in a second place in LMP2.

“This place is fantastic”, commented Alex Brundle on Sportscar365.com as the Roar before the Rolex 24 is about to get underway. “I had never seen an oval before, except at Rockingham in Great Britain. It will be another experience on a new car. For the moment, I'm only here for the 24 Hours of Daytona and nothing more. But then I'll see how things develop. » The crew will be completed by Tom Dyer for testing which will begin today and continue until Sunday.
