USCC – Emmanuel Collard returns to the 24 Hours of Daytona

Emmanuel Collard will return to the 24 Hours of Daytona behind the wheel of the Viper GT3-R from ViperExchange.com. The winner of the event in 2005 with Riley Technologies will play alongside Sebastian and Jeroen Bleekemolen as well as Ben Keating, the latter two being entered for the entire USCC season. The team was the only team entered in GT Daytona to participate in testing this week at Daytona.

Bill Riley has once again chosen to trust Emmanuel Collard even if it will be the first time that the Frenchman will drive the Viper GT3-R. “It’s a really good opportunity for me to come back with Bill Riley and this new program with Viper. We have had great success together in the past, particularly in 2005 with our victory at Daytona. I have never driven a front engine car on this circuit before, this will be a first since I have spent almost my entire career on Porsche with the engine in the back. But hey, it will be the same with a steering wheel, three pedals and four wheels, so it should be fine. »
