A few weeks before the start of the new seasonIMSA, at the end of January 2023 at Daytona (January 26-29), the different manufacturers in the new GTP category continue the driving sessions. While Cadillac has just completed a test ofEndurance at Sebring, the two Acura ARX-06s from Wayne Taylor Racing and Meyer Shank Racing took to the track at the International Speedway of the Florida double-clock. The two teams will participate in the championship with one example of the prototype each. For the WTR, Filipe Albuquerque and Ricky Taylor will be joined by Louis Delétraz for all of the Endurance rounds and by Brendon Hartley for the 24 Hours of Daytona. As for Meyer Shank Racing, the reigning champion team, a fourth driver has yet to be announced alongside Tom Blomqvist, Helio Castroneves et simon pagenaud.
