The 2024 “Night of Champions” Porsche was rich in lessons from the German manufacturer. In addition to celebrating this year's successes, the Stuttgart firm took the opportunity to unveil its drivers for 2025, but also confirm an evolution on its 963.

« Competition will be even tougher in 2025, said Thomas Laudenbach, Vice President of Porsche Motorsport. Our opponents will improve and new competitors will arrive. We feel well prepared. Over the past few months, we have carried out extensive analyses. The results have already been incorporated into our preparations for the coming season. And we are racing with a modified crew. We also have ambitious goals in Formula EWinning the constructors' championship, which will be announced for the first time in 2025, is part of it. »

The R&D engineers from Weissach and Porsche Penske Motorsport will thus refine the suspension of the Porsche 963 for the 2025 season. This will allow for better adaptation of the settings of the prototypes in the Hypercar category (FIA WEC) and GTP (IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship) to the specificities of the circuits ", estimates the German firm.

This suspension update should be the second Evo wildcard on the car after a minor sensor evolution before the 24 2024 Hours of Daytona. This new evolution should be deployed for the first time in competition at the next edition of the Florida classic, on January 25 and 26.
