ORECA has a new technical director

The former Renault F1 spearhead joins a group in full development. ©DPPI.

Rémi Taffin will bring all his experience to the ORECA Group. The former engine technical director of Renault en F1 will take office in December. He will be in charge of ORECA Technology's activities in Signes (Var) for the chassis part and in Magny-Cours (Nièvre) for the engine sector. The Frenchman's mission will be to ensure the continuity of the structure of the group, which leads numerous sporting projects.

« I am looking forward to starting work at ORECA, which is a reference in the world of motorsport, admits Rémi Taffin. The technical and organizational challenges necessary to stay ahead, the culture and the richness of the projects in progress have definitely convinced me to participate in the next stages of ORECA's development. »

The group's president, Hugues de Chaunac, welcomed the arrival of the former track engineer from Jos Verstappen : " I am very happy that Rémi is joining ORECA to manage the entire technical scope of the Group. His technical skills, his mastery of new technologies and his high-level experience will serve the company at a time when we are experiencing an important stage in our development. »
