ORECA inaugurates its “Technocentre”: the future has a name

From the upper deck, his hands on the railing, his gaze looking down, the captain contemplates the progress he has made. The journey was long, with numerous gales and sometimes dizzying dips, but the ORECA ship braved all the storms and conquered all the curses. The frail boat of its beginnings, fifty years ago, has been followed by more imposing buildings until today. Until June 6, forever unforgettable. Hugues de Chaunac, with his hands on the railing, not only looks at the showroom where the glorious past of the brand is on display, he eyes the future at the controls of his flagship. Named “Technocentre”, the building makes a notable entry among the flotilla of vessels which, generally, anchor in the waters of the F1. It which rivals in size and sophistication with these supertankers of the “Motorsport Valley” in British waters is destined to crisscross other oceans, to sail towards other horizons.
