Where will we see Valentino Rossi next season? After announcing his retirement in MotoGP a few weeks ago and after having participated in his last Grand Prix in Valencia on November 14, the Italian driver announced his participation in some endurance events in 2022. On January 8, he will be at the start of the 12 Hours of the Gulf in Abu Dhabi. For the moment, no other officialization is to be declared, but the former resident of Ducati and Yamaha gave an interview for NBC Sports, relayed by the Twitter account of theIMSA, in which the Italian says he is interested inEndurance IMSA Cup, or the 24 Hours of Daytona which will take place on January 29.

“Car racing has always been my second passion in my life after motorcycles, explains the nine-time MotoGP world champion. And every year I always try to do one or two races with the cars. And from next year I will race with the GT cars in the endurance championship. For the moment, we have not yet decided, but there is also a very interesting championship in the United States called IMSA, including the 24 hours of Daytona. This is not my last race in America. However, it’s my last here on a motorbike, but I hope to come back by car.”
