Both Toyota took off at the head of the race and are more than a minute ahead of the Porsche n°6 three hours after departure. There are only 10 Hypercars left in the race after the retirement of the Glicknenhaus n°708 driven by Romain Dumas due to a mechanical problem. There Peugeot 9X8 n°94 is still in the pits, while the n°93 clashed with the Vanwall n°4. Both cars are still on the track.

United Autosports also has a good lead in LM P2 with the #23, chased by David Beckmann for Hertz Team JOTA and Ferdinand Habsburg for WRT. Dorian Pin is in fourth position in Prema n°63.

The news is less good for the other Iron Dames in LMGTE Am. While leading the category, Rahel Frey went wide and considerably damaged the rear of the #85 Porsche. The pink car tumbled down the standings where Corvette Racing took the lead.
