• Porsche takes the lead in these 1812 km of Qatar. Laurens Vanthoor took advantage of an error by Nico Müller, who went wide in turn 1, to place the #963 6 in first position.

• The strong image of this second hour of racing is the rear cover of the Ferrari 499P n°51 which came loose at the entrance to turn 16 after contact with the McLaren No. 59 United Autosports driven by James Cottingham. This caused a Full Course Yellow and a trip to the pit lane for Calado.
• It was a complicated second hour of racing for the Prancing Horse, as the #50 had to pay a drive through for crossing the white pit exit line.
• In the pit stop game, theAlpine No. 35 driven by Ferdinand Habsburg spent a few moments at the head of the race.
• The #12 Hertz Team JOTA is in second position ahead of the #93 Peugeot now driven by Mikkel Jensen.
