24 Hours of Le Mans 2019: The guest list revealed in two stages

Le WEC now taking place over two calendar years, the ACO has decided to change its registration process for 24 Hours of Le Mans, which now serves as the final.

Of the 60 competitors in this 87th edition, those registered for the 2018-2019 World Championship will obviously be present. The protagonists who have received an automatic invitation following their results in ELMS (4), Michelin Le Mans Cup (1), Asian Le Mans Series (4), IMSA SportsCar Championship (2) or the 24 2018 Hours of Le Mans.

Teams wishing to complete the field by mid-June will be able to submit their application request between December 20, 2018 and January 31, 2019.

A first list of guests will be made official by the ACO on February 11, which will include some 50 names. The last elected officials and the ten reservists will be announced on March 1st.
